So if you didnt do it when you first got your Mac, you need to go in and set the Firewall to on.

Ive spent thousands of hours on the web, even going to some very dodgy sites.

Im now up to my fifth desktop computer (and my last as I dont need them anymore now that the iPad does everything I ever need to do).

One of the scanners looks at every single file - more than 867,000 of them Ive never had a single virus, key logger, or ANYTHING on any of my computers.

There may be a need to protect yours if you keep going to really dangerous sites, but I cant say you need to do anything more than turn on the fire wall and DONT give out your complex password (Just write it on a post-it note and stick it on the upper right corner.
